    • It usually consists of four sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness.
    • The duration of the exam is usually 90 minutes.
  2. Paper-II (Descriptive Paper):
    • This paper is intended to test elementary language skills in view of categorizing the candidates.
    • It’s a pen-and-paper mode of examination.
    • The duration of the exam is typically 30 minutes.
  3. Document Verification:
    • Candidates who qualify the Paper-I and Paper-II exams are called for document verification.
    • Candidates have to present original documents like educational certificates, identity proof, etc., for verification.
  4. Final Selection:
    • Final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in Paper-I and Paper-II, subject to their meeting the eligibility criteria and document verification.

The SSC MTS selection process may vary slightly from year to year, so it’s always advisable to check the official notification for the specific details and updates regarding the selection process for any particular year.
