There isn’t a separate interview stage in the SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) examination. The selection process typically involves three stages:

  1. Tier I: Computer Based Examination (Objective Type)
  2. Tier II: Computer Based Examination (Objective Type)
  3. Tier III: Descriptive Paper

The final selection is based on the cumulative performance of candidates in Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III examinations. There is no interview stage in the SSC CGL exam.

Candidates are selected based on their performance in the written examinations (Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III) and their preference for posts. The final merit list is prepared after considering the marks obtained by candidates in all three tiers, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria and document verification.

It’s important to note that the exam pattern and selection process may change over time, so candidates should always refer to the latest official notification and exam syllabus provided by the Staff Selection Commission for accurate information about the exam structure and selection procedure.
