The RBI Grade B exam is conducted in three phases:
- Phase-I: Preliminary Exam

- Phase-II: Main Exam

- Paper-III: Finance and Management or Economics or Statistics
- The time duration for each paper may vary, and there may be both objective and descriptive questions.
- Negative marking may apply.
- Phase-III: Interview
- Candidates who qualify in the Phase-II exam are called for an interview.
- The interview is conducted for a certain number of marks.
Candidates are selected based on their performance in Phase-II and the interview.
