General overview of the RBI Grade B exam pattern based on the information available until my last update:

The RBI Grade B exam is conducted in three phases:

  1. Phase-I: Preliminary Exam
    • This is an objective type test.
    • It consists of sections such as General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.
    • The time duration is typically around 2 hours.
    • Negative marking may be applicable for wrong answers.
  2. Phase-II: Main Exam
    • This phase is also objective in nature and consists of three papers.
    • Paper-I: Economic and Social Issues
    • Paper-II: English (Writing Skills)
    • Paper-III: Finance and Management or Economics or Statistics
    • The time duration for each paper may vary, and there may be both objective and descriptive questions.
    • Negative marking may apply.
  3. Phase-III: Interview
    • Candidates who qualify in the Phase-II exam are called for an interview.
    • The interview is conducted for a certain number of marks.

Candidates are selected based on their performance in Phase-II and the interview.
