The syllabus for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Grade B examination consists of three phases:

  1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:

  2. Phase-II: Main Examination:
    • Economic and Social Issues
    • English (Writing Skills)
    • Finance and Management (optional paper, candidates have to choose between Finance and Management)
  3. Phase-III: Interview:
    • Candidates who have successfully cleared the Phase-II examination are shortlisted for the interview round.

  3. Finance and Management:
    • Finance: Financial System, Financial Markets, Risk Management, Basics of Derivatives, Financial Inclusion, etc.
    • Management: Management Process, Leadership, Motivation, Communication, Corporate Governance, etc.
