The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has announced recruitment for the post of Sub-Inspector in Tamil Nadu Police Department. The notification was released on 8th March 2021, inviting eligible candidates to apply for a total of 969 vacancies across the state.

Eligibility Criteria:

Selection Process:
The selection process for the Sub-Inspector post includes the following stages:
- Written Examination: The written examination will consist of Objective Type Questions (OTQ) for a total of 70 marks.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates who clear the written examination will be called for physical measurement tests, where the height, weight, and chest measurements of candidates will be recorded.
- Endurance Test (ET): Candidates who pass the physical measurement tests will have to undergo endurance tests that assess their physical fitness levels.
- Viva Voce: Candidates who qualify for the endurance test will be called for a viva voce round for a total of 10 marks.
