RRB NTPC Stage 1 Exam Syllabus

The Stage 1 exam is an online computer-based test (CBT) comprising four sections- General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total number of questions is 100, and the time duration is 90 minutes. Let us now take a look at the section-wise syllabus.

  1. General Awareness: This section comprises 40 questions from various topics such as Current Events, Science and Technology, Sports, Politics, History, Geography, etc.
  2. Mathematics: This section comprises 30 questions covering topics such as Simplification, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Mensuration, Time and Work, Algebra, Data Interpretation, etc.
  3. General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section comprises 30 questions from various topics such as Analogy, Classification, Coding and Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense Test, Series, etc.
  4. English Language: This section comprises 30 questions covering topics such as Reading Comprehension, Fill in the blanks, Sentence Correction, Idioms and Phrases, etc.

RRB NTPC Stage 2 Exam Syllabus

The Stage 2 exam is also an online computer-based test (CBT) that comprises three sections- General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total number of questions is 120, and the time duration is 90 minutes. Let us now take a look at the section-wise syllabus.

  1. General Awareness: This section comprises 50 questions from various topics such as Current Events, Science and Technology, Sports, Politics, History, Geography, etc.
  2. Mathematics: This section comprises 35 questions covering topics such as Simplification, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Mensuration, Time and Work, Algebra, Data Interpretation, etc.
  3. General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section comprises 35 questions from various topics such as Analogy, Classification, Coding and Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense Test, Series, etc.
