Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Station Fire Officer: 20 to 30 years
- All other posts: 18 to 32 years for general category. There are age relaxations for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: Up to 37 years
- Most Backward Classes/Denotified Communities, BC, BC (Muslims): Up to 34 years
- War service candidates: Further relaxations depending on category and service period.
Educational Qualifications
- Station Fire Officer: BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.O.L from Annamalai University, BBA from Madurai Kamaraj University, or B.Litt from Madurai University.
- Junior Inspector of Cooperative Societies: Minimum general educational qualification (SSLC) for SC, ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM. For others: Higher Secondary Course or Pre-University Examination or a diploma in Rural Services with Co-operation.
- Store Keeper (Industries and Commerce): Pre-University Course Examination or Higher Secondary Examination.
