UPSC Interview Instructions

  7. Answer Concisely: Provide clear and concise answers to the questions asked. Avoid giving lengthy explanations unless necessary.
  8. Be Honest: Answer questions truthfully and honestly. Avoid exaggerating or providing false information.
  9. Stay Calm and Composed: Remain calm and composed, even if faced with challenging questions. Take a moment to gather your thoughts before responding.
  10. Respectful Behavior: Show respect towards the interview panel and fellow candidates. Avoid interrupting others while they are speaking.
  11. Avoid Guesswork: If you are unsure about a question, it’s better to admit it rather than guessing or providing inaccurate information.
  12. Be Prepared for Follow-up Questions: Panel members may ask follow-up questions to probe deeper into your answers. Be prepared to provide additional information or clarification if required.
  13. Express Your Views Clearly: The interview is an opportunity to showcase your knowledge, perspective, and analytical skills. Express your views clearly and confidently.
  14. Thank the Panel: At the end of the interview, thank the panel members for the opportunity to appear before them.
  15. Post-Interview: After the interview, avoid discussing the questions or your performance with other candidates. Maintain confidentiality and wait for the official results to be announced.
