CGL Tier 2 Syllabus

The aspirants who clear the first tier SSC exam can seat to give the tier 2 exam.

The SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam consists of 4 papers:

  1. Quantitative Ability
  2. English Language and Comprehensive
  3. Statistics
  4. General Studies ( With Finance and Economics )   

When it comes to clearing the SSC exam tier 2, which consists of papers 1,3, and 4 with a total of 100 objective-type questions. Each question carries 2 marks.

Same paper 2 consists of a total of 200 objective-type questions and each question carries 1 mark.

Then here comes, the SSC CGL syllabus for tier 3 (Descriptive paper)

When aspirants clear the tier 2 exam then comes the time to give the tier 3 exam which is the descriptive type with the help of pen and paper, you have to seat and appear. The exam includes: –

  1. Writing an essay both in English and Hindi
  2. Precis
  3. Letter writing
  4. Application etc

The whole exam consists of 100 marks and one has to appear for the exam for 60 minutes. But in exceptional cases; Aspirants suffering from cerebral palsy are given 80 minutes.

This paper has been designed to evaluate the writing skills of the candidates which are essential for all government jobs. The paper may include essay writing, passage writing of 250 words letter writing, and application writing of approx. 150 words.

SSC CGL Syllabus Tier 4 Exam

SSC CGL syllabus Tier 4 exam includes 3 formats which are: –

  1. CPT
  2. DEST
  3. Typing test

Aspirants who passed the tier 3 exam then they are eligible for the tier 4 exam. This is the final qualifying one. This section is commenced by judging the aspirant’s personality traits, communications skills, and leadership quality along with her academic knowledge.

Data Entry Test (DEST test)

Filling up the Tax Assistance Post like Central Excise and income TAX – Needs 8,000 key depression per hour

This DEST test was conducted for a passage of 2000 key depressions for a duration of 15 minute

Computer Proficiency Test ( CPT )
