The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) exam every year, and it is one of the most sought after exams in the country. - Mathematics: It is an important section that tests the candidate’s mathematical aptitude. It includes basic arithmetic as well as advanced topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: The section consists of questions based on analogies, coding, decoding, syllogism, statement and conclusion, and spatial visualization.
- General Science: The section includes questions based on physics, chemistry, and biology. The candidates are expected to have a basic understanding of concepts in these subjects.
- General Awareness: The section tests the candidate’s knowledge of current affairs, history, geography, economics, and politics.
