1. Preliminary Examination:
   • Objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions).
   • General Studies Paper-I

2. Main Written Examination:
   • The Main exam consists of three papers.

   • Paper-II: General Studies – Descriptive type
   • Paper-III: Interview and Record – Descriptive type
3. Interview and Record:
   • Candidates who qualify in the Main Written Examination are called for an interview.
   • The interview assesses the candidate’s mental alertness, clear and logical exposition, the balance of judgment, skills, variety, and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion, leadership, and intellectual and moral integrity.
4. Document Verification:
   • After the interview, candidates undergo document verification.
