TNPSC Group 1 is a recruitment exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). The TNPSC conducts various recruitment exams for Group 1, 2, 3, and 4 vacancies in the Tamil Nadu state administration.
TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination- I (Group – I Services)
TNPSC Group 1 exam was conducted in three phases
Prelims – one objective paper – 300 marks
Mains – Three descriptive papers –Totally 750 marks
Interview – 100 marks
Prelim Exam:
A total of 300 scores of primaries will be held. Of the 300 marks, 200 marks will be of an objective type. The preliminary exam is taken only on the qualifying exam. The scores scored by the candidates will help them to be forwarded on to the next stage of selection. A preliminary exam can offer the candidates will be taken to the main exam. After completion of exams, an answer key will be provided. Candidates can cross-check the answers. And the rank list will be published for the same. Candidates who have taken the prelims ratings can only be admitted to the main exam.
Main Exam:
Phase 2 of the Group 1 recruitment process is the main exam. Those candidates who would like to get the governmental job should begin the preparation at the earliest. The candidates have to crack the three papers. Each paper contains 250 marks. As the competition is highly competitive, the candidates should give additional effort to crack the exam.
TNPSC Main exam is conducted only in the Chennai location all other exams will be conducted at any one of the 29 examination centres in Tamilnadu
Interview
Final phase of the recruitment process is the personal interview session.
